Welcome to the World Ploughing Championship 2011!
Sweden has received the honour of arranging the World Ploughing Championship 2011 taking place on May 13-14. The venue is Lindevad�s Manor, a farm with an ancient history located in the agricultural province of �sterg�tland in the south of Sweden.
This will be the 58th World Ploughing Championship since the start in 1953. The World Ploughing Organization (www.worldploughing.org) today has 34 member countries in 5 continents. Sweden has previously hosted the event in 1955, 1976 and 1993.
Our event, with its multitude of activities, aims at showing the agricultural of today, and tomorrow.
WPC is arranged by Svensk pl�jning AB, owned by JUF (Jorbrukarungdomens f�rbund www.juf.se ).
We would like to welcome you as a contestant, company or visitor to one of the most exciting events within Swedish agriculture in decades!
